What do our professional designations mean for your retirement plan…
AIF®
The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other personal service as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential.
The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying our fiduciary responsibility.
Fi360 is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the AIF® Designation, making the designation part of an elite group of accredited designations recognized by FINRA.
CEBS®
The Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS®) designation delivers professional expertise supported by research-based best practices with a curriculum developed by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in conjunction with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. The CEBS® program is a five-course curriculum covering an entire spectrum of employee benefits.
CEBS Pledge
As a Certified Benefit Specialist, I pledge to abide by the CEBS Principles of Conduct in all my fiduciary, business and professional relationships, and to participate only in activities that conform with the spirit of those principles; I shall strive at all times to maintain and uphold the highest standard of honor and integrity so that the quality of my work will reflect credit on the CEBS designation, my profession and employee benefits field.
CPFA
The Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential – developed by some of the nation’s leading advisors and retirement plan experts – demonstrates your knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with retirement plans.
Plan advisors who earn their CPFA demonstrate the expertise required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manager their roles and responsibilities. The CPFA designation is offered through the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), a member organization of the American Retirement Association.
